Double Your Hacking Rewards
Occasionally, after completing a hacking minigame for credits etc. you can press A repeatedly as the window closes and cause the game to glitch out and let you hack a second time -- for another chunk of credits! We've confirmed that this is rare, but it does work -- so get in the habit of mashing.
Dr. Pepper bonuses
Use the following procedure to get the bonus Dr. Pepper items. Go to http://www.drpepper.com/promotions/ea/signin/ and register an account. Note: You can register three different accounts to redeem three different codes and get each item. After creating an account enter one of the following redemption codes, selecting the 'No Purchase' option. CBEEAAA41NWH CBEEAAAE4L9N CBEEAAAFQG9J CBEEAAAE98ZV Select the 'Redeem' button to see a login for an EA Account. Log in with your EA account information that is linked to Mass Effect 2. Select Mass Effect 2 from the game list and select the desired bonus item. Repeat the steps with a new drpepper.com account to get the other items.
Easy 'No One Left Behind' achievement
If you completed the game but someone died after the landing on the Collector Ship, chose someone else. On the last part where you select for the final time, do not take someone without loyalty (e.g. you lose it after you have completed their loyalty mission) as they will not survive. Instead, leave them with loyal company. For example if you lose Tali's loyalty and take her through the last part of the mission and she dies, reload the game and leave her with everyone else. You can then get the achievement.
Travel with Tali and Garrus, the recurring party members. Eventually they will have a conversation about the elevators. Garrus will fondly remember the interesting conservations they had about Quarrians. Tali gets very upset about to the point of threatening Garrus with her shotgun to stop.
Ending with both Jack's and Miranda's loyalties
Do not play Miranda's loyalty mission at first. Instead, wait for Jack's mission to become available and play it first. After the mission when they are fighting, support Jack. Miranda's loyalty will be low. Then, play her loyalty mission to get it back.
Faster mining
When scanning a planet, do not hold the LT. Instead, tap LT rapidly until you see a blip on the scanner. Then, go back over the area holding LT to find the best location to send the probe. Move the pointer to the left or the right of the planet you want to scan. Press the Left Analog-stick and Right Analog-stick in the same direction to double the spin speed of the planet. This allows you to locate resources on the grid line quickly.
Garrus: Elevators reference
Travel with Tali and Garrus, the recurring party members. Eventually they will have a conversation about the elevators. Garrus will fondly remember the interesting conservations they had about Quarrians. Tali gets very upset about to the point of threatening Garrus with her shotgun to stop.
Geth Pulse Rifle
Switch to the Hardcore difficulty setting before you land on the planet. Complete Tali'Zora's recruitment mission to find the Geth Pulse Rifle in the room where you find Tali. You can then change the difficulty back to its original setting.
Have Dominate ability and keep Samara alive
Dominate is a very useful Biotic ability that allows you to control organic enemies and turn them into allies, similar to the Hack ability that controls synthetics. In order to get this ability as a Loyalty mission bonus to use for your character, you must help Morinth kill Samara during the latter's loyalty mission. However, if you wish to keep Samara on your team but still have Morinth's Dominate ability, use the following trick. Play Samara's loyalty mission up to the point where Samara confronts Moritnth. Save the game immediately before the confrontation. When it is time to choose who you will eliminate, choose the option that lets Morinth get the upper-hand on Samara and kill her. Create a separate saved game file. Go to the ship and talk to Morinth. Load the previous saved game then have Samara kill Morinth. You now get to keep Samara as a squad mate and have Morinth's Dominate ability when you choose a bonus loyalty power to add to your character in the prototype upgrade screen.
Humorous dialogue
Wander around the ship in between missions to hear some funny quotes. Stand next to Jeff 'Joker' Moreau (the pilot) without interacting with him. You will hear him say things such as the following. 'Why is it always claws and guns? Can't we piss off a fuzzy planet? Still dangerous, I know. But hey, bunnies.' 'Two years and everything hits the crapper. That'll teach you to die on me.' 'You know what I hate about deep space? Crap radio stations from two centuries back. My gosh, we were idiots.' Stand near the two engineers near the Mass Effect Core to hear the the following. Engineer Daniels: 'Did you know we're sharing our deck with a krogan?' Engineer Donnelly: 'Well that's just peachy.'
Infinite YMIR Mechs
When you reach the point in the Freedom's Progress mission where you are told to place your teammates around the giant blast door, you can trick the game into spawning extra YMIR Mechs (Ed: But why would you want to .. ?). First, position your team accordingly, and watch the cutscene. You'll now be confronted by a Giant YMIR Mech. Instead of killing it, turn around, and head BACK through the blast door. This will glitch the game back before the cutscene. Place your team around the blast door again, and the cutscene will play. This will spawn an extra YMIR Mech. Repeat as many times as you wish, but more than three YMIR Mechs will most likely kill you!

Planet scanning
Notice after you press Y, the planet information screen on the right will tell you if the scan of planet reveals if it is 'Rich', 'Moderate', or 'Poor'. Rich planets typically give about 10+ good scan for ores. Ore yields vary from 1,500 to 3,000. Moderate will give about 8+ good scans, but around 35% to 55% yield compared to rich planets. Poor will give 5+ scans with yields 5% to 25% compared to rich planets. Note: If there is an anomaly on the planet (usually a rich planet) and you land before you scan, typically the Star Map on the Normandy will put you in a strange location away from the anomaly planet. Go back and rescan to get your ores.
Prequel bonuses
Have a saved game file from the original Mass Effect and use that profile in Mass Effect 2 to get the following bonuses. 100,000 credits: Mass Effect character with the 'Rich' achievement. 2,000 experience points: Level 50 Mass Effect character. 30,000 credits: Level 50 Mass Effect character. 5,000 of each resource: Level 50 Mass Effect character. 4,000 experience points: Level 60 Mass Effect character. 50,000 credits: Level 60 Mass Effect character. 10,000 of each resource: Level 60 Mass Effect character.
Rapid fire M-920 Cain
Fire the M-920 Cain and keep [Fire] held while pressing [Reload] after each shot. The shots will keep firing during the previous shots' explosions.
Recruiting Tali: Sunlight exposure
While recruiting Tali on Haestrom, direct sunlight will damage you and your squad's shields and Biotic barriers. Because Grunt uses armor, he is unaffected by the sunlight and does not suffer weakened defenses while directly exposed.
Rich planets
To find easy mining planets, go to the Micah system in the Vallhallan Threshold. Look for the three planets hidden in the asteroids. They are all 'Rich' planets with a lot of materials to help with upgrades.
Romancing the Yeoman
If you chat it up with Yeoman Kelly Chambers often and choose to be kind to her you can instigate an 'unusual' romantic encounter. You'll eventually be able to invite her to dinner. Additionally, you cannot let Kelly die in the final mission (choose a loyal escort for the crew in the final scene). After you beat the game, talk to Kelly and you'll receive an email from her. Go to your quarters and you'll be able to invite her up using your console. She'll appear and you'll be able to watch the evening's awkward events unwind. She's no Yeoman Rand, but she'll do.
Unlimited skill points
Recruit Morinth to get the Dominate skill and get a large amount of Element Zero. Purchase the Advanced Training upgrade and choose Dominate. This result in a bonus skill point, which is then used by the Retrain Powers upgrade. Repeat this process to get another skill point.
Unlimited Squad points
While evolving a skill to level 4, press A + X to regain all spent squad points and keep the skill evolution. This works best if you level a skill from 0 to 4 (10 points) in one go.
Yeoman Kelly Chambers: Romance
Talk with Yeoman Kelly Chambers often and select the kind responses. Invite her to dinner when you get that option. Do not let Kelly die during the final mission and select a loyal escort for the crew in the final scene. After completing the game, talk to Kelly. You will get an email from her. Go to your quarters and invite her up using your console.

Mass Effect 3 Endings Guide
The ending to the Mass Effect saga has been a long journey, so naturally there are a lot of different ways to end the game in Mass Effect 3 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Deciding to save or destroy the Collector’s Base at the end of Mass Effect 2 is the major thing that changes the ending of Mass Effect 3. You’ll see that some outcomes are similar, but some are quite different.
Note that if you didn’t import a Mass Effect 2 saved game, it will default to having the Collector’s Base being destroyed, so the only way to see the other options is to have a saved game with that option chosen in Mass Effect 2.
The next thing to focus on is your military strength. Your military strength is raised several different ways. In single player, it’s raised primarily by gaining war assets. There is a limited number of these in the game, however there is supposed to be just enough to get the good endings without playing multiplayer.
Another way to raise your military strength is by playing in the Galaxy at War multiplayer games. Playing in these games increases your galactic readiness rating, which in turn raises your military strength. This will allow you to gain better endings without having to collect as many war assets in single player.
There are also some iPhone and iPad apps that will help boost your galactic readiness rating. One is called Data Pad, and the other is called Infiltrator. Obviously you’ll need to sync your EA account in order to apply your ratings.
Important note: By not playing any multiplayer at all, your galactic readiness rating stays at 50%. This means that your effective military strength will be cut in half. For example, even if your military strength is 6000, your effective military strength is only 3000 if your galactic readiness is still at 50%.
Another important note: The only difference between the last two endings in each list is if you choose to save Anderson from the Illusive Man during the Paragon moment at the end. If you have maxed out Paragon/Renegage to save him, then you only need 4000 effective military strength to see the cut-scene of Shepard taking a breath at the end. If you don’t or can’t save him, you’ll need 5000 to see that scene.
Following is the effective military strength you’ll need in order to see all of the different endings.
Saved the Collector’s Base in Mass Effect 2
Effective Military Strength under 1750 — Earth is destroyed regardless of the decisions you’ve made Effective Military Strength of 1750 to 2049 — Save the Reapers and Earth will be saved Effective Military Strength of 2050 to 2349 — Become a Reaper and Earth will be saved Effective Military Strength of 2350 to 2649 — Destroy the Reapers and Earth will be somewhat destroyed Effective Military Strength of 2650 to 2799 — Destroy the Reapers and Earth will be destroyed Effective Military Strength of 2800 to 3999 — The Galaxy and Earth will be saved once you’re able to create synergy Effective Military Strength of 4000 to 4999 — Destroy the Reapers and Save Anderson from the Illusive Man to see that Shepard lives (Requires max Paragon/Renegade to save Anderson) Effective Military Strength of 5000 and higher — Destroy the Reapers but unable to Save Anderson from the Illusive Man, you’ll see the clip where Shepard is alive
Destroyed the Collector’s Base in Mass Effect 2
Effective Military Strength under 1750 — Earth is destroyed regardless of the decisions you’ve made Effective Military Strength of 1750 to 1899 — Become a Reaper and the Earth will be destroyed Effective Military Strength of 1900 to 2349 — Destroy the Reapers and the Earth will be somewhat destroyed Effective Military Strength of 2350 to 2649 — Become a Reaper and the Earth will be saved Effective Military Strength of 2650 to 2799 — Destroy the Reapers and Earth will be saved Effective Military Strength of 2800 to 3999 — The Galaxy and Earth will be saved once you’re able to create synergy Effective Military Strength of 4000 to 4999 — Destroy the Reapers and Save Anderson from the Illusive Man to see that Shepard lives (Requires max Paragon/Renegade to save Anderson) Effective Military Strength of 5000 and higher — Destroy the Reapers but unable to Save Anderson from the Illusive Man, you’ll see the clip where Shepard is alive
How to Increase Galactic Readiness Rating
One way to increase your military strength is by increasing your galactic readiness rating. The galactic readiness rating is only raised by playing the Galaxy at War multiplayer games (which require the Online Pass), or by playing a couple of the games for iPhone and iPad. These apps are called Infiltrator, and Data Pad.
Raising your galactic readiness rating simply lets you apply more of your military strength into effective military strength. Playing no multiplayer games leaves your readiness rating at 50%, meaning that a 5000 military strength score is reduced to 2500. If you play a lot of multiplayer games and increase your readiness rating to 100%, then you would get your full 5000 points of military strength.
Note that you shouldn’t need to worry about this rating if you don’t want to, since you can increase your military strength by collecting war assets in single player, however you’re going to need around 8000 military strength, since playing no online games will take your effective rating down 50%.
Howto Increase Military Strength
Military strength is raised several different ways:
In single player, military strength raised primarily by gaining war assets. There is a limited number of war assets in the game, but there is supposed to be enough in the game to see the best ending. You’re gonna need 8000 military strength without playing online though, so it’s gonna be tough.
Another way to raise your military strength is by playing in the Galaxy at War multiplayer games. Playing in Galaxy at War increases your galactic readiness rating, which in turn raises your military strength. This will allow you to see the better endings without having to collect as many war assets in single player.
There are also some iPhone and iPad apps that will help boost your galactic readiness rating. One is called Data Pad, and the other is called Infiltrator. Obviously you’ll need to sync your EA account in order to apply your ratings.
Important note: If you don’t play any multiplayer games, then your readiness rating stays at 50%, which is how much of your military rating is used to calculate your “effective military rating”. For example, if you have 5000 military rating, but your readiness rating is only 50%, this reduces your effective military rating down to 2500. Long story short, you probably want to play online some in order to see the best endings effectively.
How to Import a Character from Mass Effect 2
To import a character, you just need to select New Game from the main menu. On the next screen, the bottom option will be Import ME2 Character.
Once you select that option, it will search for saved games on your hard drive and allow you to choose which character to import.
Mass Effect 2 Best Armor
Character Import Bonuses
Much like the previous game, you get quite a few bonuses for importing characters from Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
When you import a character from Mass Effect 2, you will retain the look you created for them, your level, and the major decisions you made over the course of the previous games. The levels of your squad members will also be retained. You will also be given the proper amount of points to spend on their abilities when you start the game.
The primary ship upgrades you purchased for the Normandy SR-2 will be there as well, but research upgrades will not.
Unfortunately your credits and resources gained in the previous game will be lost as well.
Unlock the Chakram Launcher and Reckoner Knight Armor
To unlock the Chakram Launcher and REckoner Knight Armor in Mass Effect 3, you just need to download and play the Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning demo.

The Chakram Launcher is essentially an explosive disc launcher.
Unlock Battlefield 3 Soldier
To unlock the Battlefield 3 Soldier in Mass Effect 3, you just need to have purchased the Battlefield 3 Season Pass and link it to the same EA account you use to play Mass Effect 3.
Don’t have Battlefield 3? Well why not? You can buy the PC version here, the PS3 version here, and the Xbox 360 version here.
Romance Options

Several options are only available if they were continued from the previous game though, so check the list below to see your available options.
